Since October 2013, during the Board Director meeting in Seoul, I as representative of Indonesia was elected as the President of International Council of Small Business (ICSB) of Indonesia. On one hand I was happy to be elected, however on the other side this task is not am easy one. It takes almost one year to confirm other stakeholders how important this organization is. With the support from Binus academia, especially Dr. Idris Gautama and some colleagues on September 3, 2014 in Bandung we finally can establish and try to run this organization with the support from Binus. So far 13 universities as commited to join and hoping more others including practicioners and policy makers to join.
As the non profit organization and with the support from academia and other stakeholders we hope that this organization can contribute to the SME development in Indonesia and also Asian. Furthemore, we also hope that more academia and policy makers and praticioners will join this organization to share their views related on SME development.
For the benefit of SME development in Indonesia, we hope that many inputs related on policies and programs for SME development are welcome to be part of our work plans in the future.

20th October 2014 International Council for Small Business – Indonesia (ICSB-Indoensia) Is launched officiated by the President of ICSB-Indonesia Mr. I Wayan Dipta. in this occasion the Executive Director of ICSB-Indonesia Dr Idris Gautama So also form the organization structure and personnels. This Event is attended by UNESCO officials, CEO of Binus Group Mr. Bernard Gunawan, Rector of Bnus University Prof. Dr. Harjanto Prabowo, and Indonesian Universities representatives.
